The 38th annual meeting of the Society for Historians for the Early American Republic will meet Omni New Haven from July 21 to 24, 2016 in New Haven, Connecticut. Over the years, SHEAR has developed a reputation for welcoming all scholars and history practitioners to its annual meetings. We gather with old friends and new, discuss ideas and share resources, and inspire each other. Our programs—from panels to plenary to presidential address—are created with attention to quality and variety. We have something for everyone! So please plan to join us in 2016.
Conference Registration is required to attend any and all events related to the conference.

Each conference registrant must purchase their tickets individually. Guest tickets for receptions and the banquet are available.
On-site registration will include $20 late fee.
